Jan - congrats on making money on your Vert short.

Yes, I still have my EBAY short position - I'm debating now whether to cover immediately at market open for a quick profit or to wait and see if it goes lower (it's currently trading at 143). It's so hard to tell what the reaction will be once the market opens.

It will also be interesting to see if the auction news has any impact on YHOO and AMZN.

Thanks,
-Eric

Jan - hard to believe, but Ebay's site is down right now - you can access the main site and look at lists of items, but you can't view individual items and place bids. Of course, there probably aren't too many people waiting to bid this early in the morning (at least on the west coast).

Poor timing on Ebay's part.

Jan,

AMZN looks strong right now. It looks more like a cup-and-handle than an inverted H&S.
I would say definite buy b/w 59-62 OR momo buy on CLOSE ABOVE 70.

BTW, bot EBAY @ 144. Waiting for 135 to buy more. This gangup stuff is crap. Reminds me of euro vs dollar.
