Kenneth,
Duffy is one of the best investigative reporters in the industry. He always seems to get the scoop on things - I know he had done it to me a few times back in my product management days. Anyway, my question to Duffy in this case is.... and so, what is different about AVVID and today's networks. Today's networks have separate data and voice management systems and integration issues.

I'll tell you what's different... With AVVID you're on a trajectory towards integration and single management. With AVVID all devices are IP devices - including phones - which makes installation and support easier. Yes, more complex than a data only network... but less complex than a discrete data and a discrete voice network. Duffy in this case is missing the point and is focused on minutia.
