Double D;

You are quite correct that nobody (or very few people) really understand the gold market. Gold probably is the least transparent and most easily manipulated market on earth.

The current gold action is most toubling. Cannot rally worth a damn no matter how favorable the background news. But gets hit hard on the slightest hint of bad news (like the modest dollar bounce today)

Whatever the reason this is classic bear market action. Until this changes in a fundamental way, the path of least resistence is down.

DD,
Have you noticed the only thing Ken posts about anywhere on SI is gold , and only in the negative?
He must be:
1) Short gold
2) Long an issue which uses the metal(Tiffany or perhaps Zales)
3) long the $
4) blindly supporting the status quo BS reported - "everything is wonderful"

Even when we have pointed out the massive reduction of forward sales, he continues to snipe at the industry.

What's the game Ken?

Even Ron Reece will admit to his point of view, Don Greene is only here to spam his favorite of the week(at the cost of gold) & Hutch will jump in & out to make a buck.

For whom do you work? What the game, Ken?
