eDispatch.com Wireless Data Inc - Post says eDispatch.com favoured by Canaccord eDispatch.com Wireless Data Inc EWD Shares issued 12,890,034 1999-09-16 close $1.7 Friday Sep 17 1999 The Financial Post reports in its Friday edition that eDispatch.com Wireless Data is a top stock pick of David Wong, special situations analyst at Canaccord Capital in Vancouver. Buy & Sell columnist Sonita Horvitch notes the stock, currently $1.60, has a 52-week range of $1.75 to 35 cents. Mr. Wong says there is enormous growth potential in wireless Internet dispatching services. The company's product, eDispatch, is normally offered as part of a bundle of services by a wireless network operator. As a result of several contract breakthroughs, Mr. Wong says that eDispatch.com should provide an exponential revenue increase for 2000. His 12-month target price on the stock is $2.30. Overall, Mr. Wong says that for investors capable of handling the risk inherent in convergence technology, there are a number of Canadian companies carving a niche in this fast-growing area. He says we are beginning to see the convergence of software applications, wireless data communications and the Internet with solutions directed, for example, at improving the productivity of mobile workers.
