I believe the correct term at this point is reflationary, but , the main reason for building of inventory is to avoid the cost impact and production impact of future increased demands.

The demand at the moment for DRAM and other computer items is likely Y2K driven - if that is a non-event - watch this sector get wacked - and wacked real good.
