If they only had one idea, the patent would last 14 years. But they keep adding to the patents, and I've heard figures up to hundreds of patents now in place, which create virtually insurmountable barriers to entry for competitors and guarantee a very long period of royalties. More than long enough for us to meet our outrageous goals <g>.
