B: Deloitte & Touche Announces Ranking of Fastest Growing Technology Companies
in Los Angeles Area; EarthLink Network Tops List With Five-Year Revenue Growth
of 158,405%

LOS ANGELES, Sep 17, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The fastest growing
technology companies in the region were recognized by Deloitte & Touche
LLP at an awards banquet held September 16 at the Beverly Hilton in
Beverly Hills. Called the "1999 Los Angeles Technology Fast 50," the
annual awards program ranks technology companies located in Los
Angeles, Riverside, Santa Barbara, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties
by revenue growth over a five-year period.

EarthLink Network, Inc. topped this year's Fast 50 list with a
five-year revenue growth of 158,405 percent. The Pasadena-based company
is one of the world's leading Internet service providers.

"We congratulate all the Fast 50 companies for their commitment to the
technology industry, and for delivering on the promise of market
longevity," said Gary Dickey, partner, Los Angeles Technology Group,
Deloitte & Touche. "Being named a Fast 50 winner is a testament to each
company's leadership, and its ability to not only have the right
solution at the right moment, but also the vision that contributes to
the growth of the business over five years."

To be considered for the Fast 50 status, companies must produce a
technology, manufacture a technology-related product, be technology
intensive or use unique technology in problem-solving, or devote a
substantial amount of effort to research and development of technology.
Additionally, companies must have been in business for a minimum of
five years with 1994 revenues of at least $50,000.

The 1999 Los Angeles Technology Fast 50 program is presented by
Deloitte & Touche and sponsored by Brobeck Phleger & Harrison LLP,
Imperial Bank, Marsh, Inc., Merrill Corporation, and First Security Van
Kasper, and in association with the California Manufacturing Technology
Center.
