Here's part of the reason for our rally today: 08:54 ET Fed Policy : The probability of a Fed tightening at the October 5 tightening was already low following recent PPI and CPI reports, but this morning's report by John Berry in the Washington Post cements the case for a steady policy. Berry has better access to the Fed than any reporter, and his article is titled "Fed Appears Unlikely to Hike Rates." Briefing.com is now confident that there will be no rate hike on October 5.
