The usually go hand-in-hand. I really like my signals on large cap tech and Internet stocks. With MSFT accounting for 15% of QQQ, a buy in MSFT will usually very close precede or follow a buy in QQQ. I don't really know which works better, I just know it works. Also, I know it doesn't work as well on less liquid, less volume small caps.

Yes, my signals on NDX are similar to QQQ.
