WMC apparently unable to move last 10 tonnes of cobalt, 99.8% Falco grade now on offer for $16.45.

Interesting. Does WMC, as a result of it's web trading site have an obligation to maintain a market? If not, why not just take the cobalt off the market, unless you anticipate further price decrease?

For those interested in Africa, go to marekinc.com
and check out the Central African Business Times section. Lots of discussion of Geca and ZCCM, none of which sounds positive for cobalt supply.

Inco supply iffy at best for the near future. Given what we have thought to be bullish indications for cobalt, and pending y2k supply problems, one would anticipate Co going up rather than down.

Ralph, I checked with Evercell. 1/3 lb of Ni in a Ni-Cd scooter battery, so calculate increased Asian demand for electric scooters and we might have another significant demand issue for Ni.
