Lee - didn't pull the trigger - got down to 27 3/8 - still hours left in the day for it to fall some more - the thing i've learned from this thread to buy something while it is moving in a positive direction! Connor26

Lee, it's been tough to call the bottom here. I averaged down to 31, then went short (couldn't take it any more). The NITe five day chart doesn't exactly look promising, despite the fact that this company is loaded.

Been trading lightly of late...played the CHINA gap for 6 points and change, and am currently short PHCM.

Happy trading,
Scrumpy

One would have to believe that NITE and others in this sector would have to start to make a move soon. NITE,AMTD,EGRP,TWE, etc. are all close to 70% off their 52 week highs set back in April. Trading vol. is to blame but each year trading vol. is light during the summer months. IMO once the rate fears [which this sector reacts on also] are put to rest after the October Fed meeting this sector should start to make a move towards the up side. Good luck.

shorting like a swing trade would work very well.. like shorting on the 'down side of the cup' in a cup and saucer formation. that would take preparation but it would be worth it. I think I use my shortie shorts in the place of my intraday options plays that I've almost given up completely. Its much easier to cover a short than it is to sell a put or call intraday. Sometimes while waiting around to see what to do with a stock I already own like POWI, VERT or CYTC that really isn't very volatile after entry, shorting fills the empty time. But I'll be more careful and try for the 'solid shorts'.. Just that some of those 'super-overpriced' stocks like RHAT are like waving a red flag in front of a bull.
