Bryyyyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaannnn!

Of course you didn't confuse me. <gg>

Problem is, this occurred *after* I was in for awhile and had previously posted, that is why I think it is the cookie monster.

Apparently Cisco has experienced it as well, and possibly others.

In a related cookie monster kind of thing, Yesterday, 9/17/99, I was scanning threads when , all of a sudden, My PC was logged in as someone else. The subjectmarks were changed to this other guy's list. People marks were still mine. I did not check portfolios. I logged off and back on. all was fixed.

I sent a note to "contact SI" at the bottom of the page. My response was a generic post from go2net.

I hope that someone else does not become logged in as me.

Cheers.
Chris

bryan, I have had a few nonmembers aske me over the past weeks how they can access the Classic. Specifically, they liked the comparison charts. I tried sending various links. Either they were not available or they needed a password.

I also notice more often members send links using the new url. When I click them, I'm offered to sign up to join or asked for my password. Sometimes though they go through, but I get commercials.

Specifically, I can't access portfolios linked throught the new site. SOoooo, my question is : Will the two ever be compatiable so I don't have to log into the new site to view a public portfolio?

Thanks.

p.s. here is the same portfolio. One in classic, the other in beta. I can't get to the beta with out logging in. Me no like this:

techstocks.com

And here's the classic. it does not reflect the updates made on the beta folios.
