rudedog - Im not so sure Professional Services is a sustainable advantage that Compaq can count on - its fairly easy to change service/warranty/consulting practices - additionally as Compaq/Digital shows slowdown in the high margin Hardware areas such as VMS and UNIX they may not have much of an installed base to service in the future as services are a low margin item with heavy human capital costs. BTW - I have been to Oracle's Data Center in Belmont, CA - it is heavily Sun but there good at getting hardware vendors to "donate" equipment.
