The Monster.com and ZDNet partnership carries across all of the European countries where Monster is present which includes the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium and France.

The companies say the alliance will provide greater access for European residents to the Monster Career Network in Europe, as ZDNet provides technology and Internet content for many of the portal sites in Europe. The partnership will also give visitors to the ZDNet, an information technology Web site with a presence in most European markets, access to technical jobs in their country and across the continent.

Visitors to ZDNet's Jobs Channel, will have access to job postings in information technology, engineering, architecture and design and can post their resumes on the Monster sites and apply for an individually customized job search agent.

The Monster career network is a division of Monster.com, headquartered in Maynard, Massachusetts in the United States. It is a global online careers network with 8.1 million unique visits per month to its sites.

Based in San Francisco, ZDNet develops and maintains the ZDNet Web site and focuses on technology, Internet content and commerce. ZDNet is a division of Ziff-Davis. (ZD: news, msgs)

Shares of Ziff Davis rose 15/16 to 16 1/16.
