Robert: Many times in prayer I will tell the Lord that I love him and He will say to me. OK. But why do you love me ? My pat answer is Lord I do not know why---anymore---than I know why You love me as much as YOU DO. I will say this, the Lord has given me much more than I deserve. That said. It's not something I like to dwell on. I guess it's too deep and I'm too shallow to contemplate on it for very long.......IN Christ.gregor

>>>>>>>>>>Our only justification is through the cross<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Just as Abraham believed and his belief or faith was counted unto him as righteousness so must we believe. However, it is not the sincerity of our faith that counts but the object of our faith. How can we ever know that we are sincere enough, or humble enough, or smart enough, or diligent enough. You see . We cannot nor never will. But we have an intercessor , alive and active that sits at the right hand of the Father, in the Throne Room of The Universe, interceding for us day and night, night and day. It is Jesus that is sincere enough, it is Jesus that is wise enough, it is Jesus that is humble enough, It is Jesus that is diligent enough. It is Jesus. So when we call on His name, He says in no wise shall I cast them out.

It makes salvation so simple. Just call on Jesus to save you and leave the rest up to him. The number one reason most people will never be saved is that they try to complicate it to the point it becomes incomprehensible, and so they never end up taking the very first step. In Christ.gregor

Dear Robert : A most urgent request to pray for and lift up Rich Coeburn. During lung surgery the doctors clipped a large vessel or artery and while stopping the blood flow he had a massive stroke. His condition is grave. He is on life support in intensive care..

In Christ Jesus: Amen.
