Tech2, Did you ever consider technical analysis of options trading? It's very difficult mainly because you have to compile the data yourself (unless there's a site out there I don't know about). I was doing it for a while, keeping track of price and open interest on a daily basis and charting it on excel. Believe it or not, I caught wind of a huge move in AOL. The stock was around 70 when a huge increase in open interest in one month 75 calls popped up on a Thursday. Sure enough, on Monday the stock went to 78! Didn't make a dime on it and tried to find another but it's just too hard to keep compiling the data.
