Two newsletters recently recommended IPV. Future Stock (Vancouver) is the best one. Their research and analysis is usually very in-depth and excellent. It's done by a couple of young guys who really get involved. They've got a good track record. Check out their website at www.keystocks.com
They conclude: In the Final Analysis:
After feeling the full effects of the 1998 'Asian Flu', the past year was truly a transitional period for IPS.ÿ The company made a strategic and concentrated effort to diversify its operations both geographically and by product.ÿ In addition, IPS also sought to bring costs under control without sacrificing its commitment to research and development.ÿ By recently posting its best quarter ever, management is adamant that the strategic initiatives have been successful.ÿ It appears the move into Europe will help IPS offset demand swings in one market with gains in another.ÿ Because quarter over quarter sales can be erratic, we do not expect the company to post such dramatic increases in its remaining three quarters. However, the company's R&D focus bodes well for future growth and year over year figures should show solid gains.

The other is called Small Cap Growth Stocks, a large Toronto publishing outfit, which hums and haws but concludes "we are impressed with IPS' leading position in this growth area" but "we recommend IPV only as a highly speculative buy for risk capital." It's really more of a write-up than in-depth research, but it is their 'speculative pick of the month' and no doubt all publicity help stirs up marketplace interest.
