E,

You guys spend too much time looking at the chart. <g>

A couple of campus coeds just walked by my window. Is that better?

Don't castigate. Prognosticate. You're so much better at it.

My question to you is where is the next resistance level?

And Patrick...

Quite some time ago you were doing some work to predict earnings for next year. At the time I was doing the same thing and came up with some numbers nearly identical to yours. Basically, we were counting on revenue growth @ 7%. (I was estimating quarter over quarter, and decided you must have been too.) We also knew margin up to some point in sales and then expansion of margin for every dollar thereafter. Based on those assumptions I came up with $2.40 for 2000. Am I remembering this correctly? Could you remind me those dollar amounts and margins. What am I forgetting? Have you revised your estimates? If so, why? I've lost track of all my paperwork.

Thanks for a reply.

MFS

Exactly. That's my point. The latest upgrade 12 MONTH target is $70. I think I agree with Tony, if it doesn't get any further upward revisions from the analyst community, I think a correction is in order. Who in the world wants to buy into a tech stock with a one year price target merely $10 over the current level? All it takes for a stock to drop is a lack of buyers. Would you realistically be a buyer of a stock going into Oct. if it is perceived to be fully valued? All of the holders who have been here since the stock was in the 20's & 30's need not worry, but I'm new. My cost basis is about $55. I'm starting to think more & more I'll probably be sitting on dead money if I hold....(or worse).....

Anybody trading this thing? Is this thing a short term buy now?

Semis down due to Taiwan, but LSI has nothing in Taiwan. Does it mean it should bounce back quick?
