and i agree to the fact that you can believe what you choose and i will not declare your beliefs wrong. i am a creationist and i can't prove god exists but i do believe that both evolutuionism and creationism THEORIES should be taught in school and the developing minds of the children of our nation should be allowed to choose which they follow. not calling one or the other fact but the right to freedom of religion is a right.

Lather.Rinse.Repeat.Re:" I am an agnostic". TA to the rescue:

Let me heelp you LRR.

Consider looking into the Catholic Faith.

Catholicism ( possibly other Christian faiths too, I don't want to pigeon hole you ) teaches that
Faith ( like everything in the Universe) is
a gift of God.

In other words
a]it is not possible for you to believe in God unless
He gives you the Faith
( incidentally that makes sense:
if you are a human with a finite brain you cannot comprehend the Infinite; but now we are diverging)

b]you can only obtain Faith from God if you sicerely
ask Him to give it to you
.

This is why you will hear numerous people tell you that
" God spoke to them and they believe in Him". The
thinking is that God somehow makes Himself known to you
in an unequivocal fashion so that you believe.
(Believe strongly enough to die for Him as in the
early Church martyrs that were put to death by the
Romans rather than refute their faith; now that is
a strong faith ).
( that faith gets put to the test everyday )

c]One of the major pronouncements of Vatican
Council II in 1963 was that the choice into the
Catholic Faith must be 100% free and uncoerced.

I hope this helps LRR

I can't, so I don't. That is why I am not an atheist. An atheist says a positive "There is no God." That sort of positivism is just as baldly dishonest as that
coming from a black robe who says "There is a God and I will tell you what he requires of you."
I am an agnostic ... I say "I see no compelling or even tantalizing evidence of a God." This is no longer doctrine, but opinion. The distinction is critical.
The Godders want to deny me the parity of this opinion with their faith - a form of opinion also imho.
