A self-study course in chart-reading:

Step 1:
Go to the chart on the link below

and notice the decline in e.Digital's price during the period from the beginning of February (when the stock peaked at $0.20/share) to early April (when the stock hit a low of $0.125/share).

Step 2:
Then look at the period from mid July (when the stock was at $2.00/share) and the subsequent decline to the recent price of $1.25/share.

Step 3:
Now look at the rise in price from the April low to the high that month of $3.73/share (briefly).

Step 4:
This part of the exercise is left for the student to complete on his/her own. Hint: A:B as C:?

For extra credit, describe the economic impact of new revenue sources which increase the sales/share of a public company by a factor of ten or more, the reduction in financial risk brought about by a substantially strengthened balance sheet, and the effect of wider investor exposure caused by association with much larger public companies. Use a small San Diego company in your discussion as an example.
