Because there a lot of "Wire House" Brokerages that owned this stock in client accounts before it was delisted from the NMS! It is now (believe it or not) on there recommended list because of it's penny stock status!

In stead of holding PENC for the long term the retail broker is going to recommend saleing it and putting the proceeds to work in another firm recommendation!

I hope this helps!

Just dropped in to see if anyone else saw that last transaction. I did not have the same first thought. I watched SHWD on the ask at .75 for 50 most of the day. Was wondering how could he have so many shares to sell when he could get a higher price if he stepped out of the way. When the price went down with the high ratio of buys and the last trade was well above the ask, my first thought was SHWD wasn't going to move at all today because he knew someone was going to sell him some to cover his sells at .75. He still gets his commission, another mm gets a good price, and they can frustrate the trading and totally control this stock. This was just my first thought and now that it is printed I can see that this is not possible because that would be collusion which is illegal and I am sure mm's would never even think of doing something like that. :>P
