Gerry,

How much RAM would you suggest for someone who watches fast moving stocks on CSW? I presently have 128Mb but am thinking of adding another DIMM. My video card has 8Mb of RAM on board. Should I be upgrading to 16Mb or 32Mb to optimize performance of CSW?

Regards,

Sue

Gerry,

Another request for a future release. I would like to see the ability to display more than 16 stocks on the Stockwatch Ticker by allowing subscribers to move down the time of trade window.

I have just signed up for the trader option to try L2 and also to try having more than 20 stocks in one portfolio. By minimizing the time of trade screen at the bottom left hand corner, I am estimating that you could get 8-9 more stocks on the screen thus bringing the total to a respectable 25.

I have upgraded to IE5 and will be trying s/w version 38 on Monday with 32 medium-fast movers in one portfolio.

When can we start seeing some of these features incorporated into Stockwatch?

Sue

Sue,
I can see how both types of information could be useful at different times during the day.

We will be adding more flexibility to future releases of our software. Our next release however, will focus on improving the Ticker's efficiency and the way we deal with fast moving stocks.

Thanks,
Gerry Rempel

Still hanging in there with CSW. Really giving it a workout this week and trying to iron out the bugs in my system as well.

I'm using the Datek Streamer as well and they have two useful fields that I would like to, with your help of course, try to incorporate in CSW's streaming quotes window. They are: 1. a % change field and 2. a previous close field.

What do you think?
