Michael, I think that this same guy could have just as well walked into an "Act Up" meeting and shouted obscenities at them , and murdered them, and it still wouldn't be a hate crime. There was no indication that he belonged to a hate group. He was deeply mentally disturbed, and was not acting rational at all. It is an aberration, not part of a trend. I read everything in your post, and I think that the press reported fairly. It was proper to put the hurricane story ahead of th shooting, because more people were affected. Del
