So I guess the question is - will the B of E auction drive down the price? Presumably, under your scenario the bullion dealers are now short - hoping to cover straight after the auction on Tuesday. Doesn't that give rise to huge pent up demand - and in anticipation of this maybe the auction itself will be oversubscribed at a better price - after all many of the players may anticipate a huge short covering rally. If you're right these bullion dealers are playing with dynamite. d
