Robert Barry, I can understand your frustration with "Corporate America". And I realize that people in certain professions don't really have the choice to work independently. But if you love your work, you already have an advantage over many other people. If you can't change jobs, you can try to do the best you can with what you've got. That's about all any of us can do.

Then you say you love your work, yet it is wasteful and useless.

Most ironic is the statement that to argue is futile. This stands in sharp contrast to the quote in your profile, "Evil triumphs while good men do nothing."
