Bert, I fear that consumer products are further down the road than the two three years contemplated in that report. They'll need to go down the learning curve with the military before they can contemplate any sizeable sales in the commercial and medical market, IMHO.

The roadmap that Jacobs published in his report has a full color consumer device appearing in 2002. The same timeline has a red/green display available in 2001 for industrial/medical/military use. The most interesting thing about the timeline (other than the color) is the weight estimates. From 9kg in 1998 to 2.8kg now to 2.0kg in early 2001 to 1.5kg in 2002.
