evolutionism .. evolution There is no need to add more names for things which have already been described for more than a century. There is Evolution which you haved described as capacity of populations of organisms to adapt to environmental pressure and there is Natural Selection which is the why, and then there are implications that people make. (proto-apes and bugs-insects had their last common ancestor before the Cambrian period. It would be more accurate to say that proto-apes came from worms). TP
