wbm and all - Interesting article from gartner / dataquest this week. It is part of the service I pay for so I don't want to quote directly, but the gist was that DELL has been quietly hunting down top talent in the services business and has been prototyping full-up enterprise service offerings with key customers with great success. In the last 6 months they have gradually expanded those offerings to cover a number of enterprise requirements - gartner was impressed by the innovative nature of the offerings. Dataquest believes that DELL is now at better than $1B run rate in services, which is very impressive. If this study is on the mark we should see the impact in the market pretty quickly.
