MLRE: How could I forget that one! I was given the ticker by a friend.......had a few $k not busy......did a ta and bought at $7ish......sold a few days later at $17.......was happy ......looked at it again as it went past $20 or $30.......a nice ride which I got off of too soon.

Re:On the other hand, I can look at news, look at a chart, look at a trading log, previous day's trading logs, and feel that the damn thing will probably go up.

On the other hand, I dont give a damn about anything fundamental about a stock beyond initial research. After I'm convinced a stock is a good one I simply zero in on its daily technical statistical differences to get a good idea where and what tomorrow will bring......

After I take a position I find upper resistance levels and use that as a target to sell or to reassess my position. As you know, this is sometimes difficult with pennies but is very rewarding with a slightly larger cap stock..........
