Because they think it's too slow and too expensive and too hard to manufacture in quantity.


I assume you've read the rest of the messages by now and know that this was the wrong answer. If AMD is free to make its own decisions about which technologies it will support and it doesn't have to offer the customer the choice of every possible technology, then so is Intel.
