Yeah, I hear what you're saying about RHAT..but if you have heard and seen what I've been hearing and seeing you wouldn't think twice. Let's just say that there is significant interest among most infrastructure and platform companies in using RHAT and application developers are all over it. It's a winner.

As for COMS being not too risky.. also I agree that anything greater than a 20% dip in the short term appears unlikely.... but equally unlikely is anything more than a 20% gain. It's dead money for at least 6 months. And, with the current BOD they're more likely to screw things up than to fix them. I figure while they're trying to work things out I'll go make a buck. I don't need to take the risk of buying the bottom here... I'd rather wait for signs of life. The PALM spin-off was so obvious......well...... heck... even I thought of it. I'd like to see some bolder moves. My assessment - COMS=dead money. So I've moved on. see ya... I'll be back when EB and BOD make a move... I think they blew the spin-off terribly.

speaking of Linux a less risky play with this OS is with CORL they want to make it simple enough for the masses to install.

RHAT is not worth 7 billion dollars & will be in the crapper soon enough.
