Elmer, The downards inertia of AMD will not be overcome for at least another quarter. It is unrealistic to hope for any profits prior to the end of the Dec quarter with(hopefully)
a full three months of high production. Of course creative bookmaking might arise?
If AMD cannot make enough parts to fill the OEM needs then Intel need not cut prices as AMD will be unable to take sales from them, such price cuts may be made to deny AMD any profits as a denial of future growth prospects for AMD.

As to parts available, we have OEMs receiving volume shipments of 750 Mhz Athlons and there seems to be no reason why it cannot be marked an 850 Mhz as it clocks there and does not overheat.
