M2,
I think we have the power back permanently now. I hope. I missed all the usual media panic reporting. Funny they didn't report on the overflowing dam in Phoenixville. It was in bad shape for a while. Guess they didn't want to cause a panic.<g> The press doesn't cover this area very well. Guess we are a little to far out for them.

I did double up on HRC Friday morning. The isolation created a vacuum and I filled it with a blind transaction. Nothing beats a live broker when the power is out. Now that I have power TLAB is heading south again after closing over 60 on Friday.

Glad to see Floyd gone....

Noticed some 5000 share blocks on LCAV on my ticker this morning.

Something interesting on my old friend PLAB. They are now bigger then DuPont Photomask but not by much. What is your current read on semi's?

First Security Van Kasper Raises Target Price, Maintains Buy Rating on
Photronics

San Francisco, CA, Sep 17, 1999 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- First
Security Van Kasper semiconductor analyst Susan R. Crossley today
raised her 12-month price target to $36 from $31, maintaining her BUY
rating on Photronics, Inc. (Nasdaq:PLAB).

Photronics, a leading supplier of photomasks to the semiconductor
industry, yesterday announced an agreement to merge with competitive
supplier Align-Rite (Nasdaq:MASK) in a deal that could create the
world's largest photomask manufacturer. The company will be presenting
at First Security Van Kasper's Growth Stock Conference, "Companies for
the New Millennium," October 4-5, 1999 in San Francisco.

"The merger makes sense in several ways," said Crossley. "The deal
should be immediately accretive to earnings, with size being a definite
advantage in the capital-intensive photomask business. Furthermore,
Align-Rite's facilities offer a timely addition to Photronics'
cutting-edge capacity."
