Why doesn't AT&T recognize their misstep and switch to GSM or CMDA? Why make a "dualmode" phone and support two standards, when just GSM would apparently suffice?

Do you think that AT&T made a mistake in their move to TDMA?

I guess I have to reask my question in light of current events...Any more objections to using Qualcomm's ASIC's in NOK cell phones? CDMA will have over 100m subs by next year....The argument that the market is too small no longer holds water.
