In both the meeting and in analyst report by A Ciena(SSB) it is pointed out that Management has expressed strategic interests over the price to be paid as the leading consideration. I would recomend reading the Solomon report, it has got to be the most bullish writeup I have ever seen. A Ciena says Q is worth at minimum 190, and at maximum 370! He says that Q will be an earnings monster. In the report it mentioned Asian and European buyers. There were no mention of domestic ones???? So I could be wrong about MOT. I get the sense that this deal isnt going to happen so quikly though. If they just decided two weeks ago to make a deal, it will be the end of December or January before we get confirmation. IMHO
