Jill, I use Schwab, the commissions on 80 Sept 95 contracts for 1/8 was $68 and the commission on 40 Sept 95 contracts for 1/4 was $56. I used the phone to place my sell order and the commission was $210, which was higher than selling online. Schwab said their site was up and running even though I had trouble shifting between their screens.

My MSFT options trading is for income generating purposes only. I have enough stock in my core position that I have left virtually untouched (only sold 100 shares after the second split) since 1987.

Regards

Jill, Bought Oct 100's at 2 1/4 this morning. Depending upon how the market moves, I don't know if I'll hold to expiration or trade out in a matter of minutes, hours or days.
