MARKHAM, ONTARIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 22, 1999-- Geac Computer Corporation Limited (TSE: GAC - news) announced today that it had received all statutory and regulatory approvals that it believes are necessary to complete its purchase of JBA Holdings plc, and has declared its bid wholly unconditional. As a result, the Company will be consolidating the financial results of JBA as of September 21, 1999.

Okay it's official. Now lets see if they can squeeze some profits out of them.

To tell you the truth, Geac, is one of my losers this month. I got some back today. They've taken it in both directions a bit too far for me, before I assumed the cavalry would show up..
