Chart looks terrible, hasn't be able to break the recent top on two attempts, even with the help of BancBoston Robertson Stephens screaming "BUY" repeatedly through three separate buy recommendations since 7-15-99.

technicals aside, the sector is getting hammered (the market in general...a/d line) from pricing pressures due to competition...procedures however, will continue to go "through the roof" as more folks discover the benefits of the surgical procedure, more alliances developed (in)directly with insurance carriers.

the centers performing the surgeries are getting hammered the most. a tradeoff with greater revenue potential with lower prices. Even though margins could get squeezed, the bottom line should continue to improve...I hope.

and with the increased demand who might stand to benefit the most? perhaps the equipment makers, patent holders... ?
