I am sure it has its share of charlatans. I am not trying to point fingers - I am stating a problem that the religious right has which is many people have a poor perception of them. I think a lot of people on this thread would agree that it is a problem. Thus all the talk of religious persecution that has been here lately.

I think the religious right needs to improve their image. You know I am anti violence. Here is a link to an article in the Chicago Tribune which I believe is an excellent way for churches to proactively reduce violence and improve their image.

This is the type of things all church leaders should be doing.
