i have been sick as a dog today. since it's me that's sick, it must be "swine flu" <g> ouch, it hurts to <g>. i just got in the mail "a monk swimming" by malachy mccourt. i'll see how it is. also "the irish in america" which has essays written by both mccourts, pete hamill, dennis duggan, mary higgins clark, peggy noonan...it says "soon to be a pbs documentary series" which may have already taken place since the copyright is 1997. i never saw it. if an economist is overbearing, or doesn't give good reasoning, i think it kills the value of the message. i have never felt like i was learning when i read mickey's stuff. shoot i'm going to miss the game tonight.
