Institutions take flack from their conservative investors when ever they buy stock less than $10 per share. Cheap stocks are always considered riskier. At the end of each quarter, they usually reveal what stocks they own at the time. That is why the $10 price minimum shows up on their screens to analyse. Now that the IPO is close and IPO are hot it broke the $10 barrier for a short time and the big boys looked and some bought taking the price over 11 for a few hours only. Now we have the market makers on the Nasdaq with too few shares in their inventory and they are playing with the price to accumulate before the spin off. They know the institutions will be lined up to buy.

Good luck
