Winston, I read the post you reference. It is a very good post and AOL has a lot of work to do overseas. It does have the money to do that. What I wonder is its name AOL and thereby its appeal. "AMERICA ON-LINE". Don't you think it should change the name to correctly depict its nature of a worldwide cyber community.

On the flip side though, the US market is the market that everyone wants to be a leader in. The world sells to the US population. Toyotas, Sonys, everything. Hence as a AOL investor, I can take some comfort in the fact that AOL leads in the marketplace that the world is selling to. By being on the AOL network instead of MSN, they will have instant access to 18 million folks that the world wants to communicate with to sell their merchandise.
