Jesus, Name above all names, Beautiful saviour, Glorious Lord, Immanuel, God is with us. Blessed Redeemer, Living Word. I think that's the words of some song I heard a few years back. In any event, they're all true. For any who are lurking on this thread and are intrigued by the subject, remember this from the book of Jeremiah. "You will seek me and FIND me when you search for me with all your heart." The final FIND is Jesus Christ. David prophesied about Him when he said, "The LORD said unto my Lord, sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool." Who is David's Lord? To the initiator of this thread, and other readers, rather than just flippantly pass by the person of Jesus Christ, I ask that you pause and consider. He either is everything he said he was, or he was a fake. There are no two ways about this. No one can say and supposedly do the things he did without some sort of backing. Was he of God or wasn't he? Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father, but through me." Was that the words of a rational man? You decide. As for me, that decision was made over twenty years ago. I would be a liar if I said, Jesus didn't save me. Salvation is not in a religion. Relationship with God (which we all desperately need, whether we realize it or not) comes only through Jesus Christ. Friends don't be shortchanged by a religion. Religion dosen't free us, Jesus does! And may I also add, the "religious" aren't the only ones who need Him. Whatever your "god" is, whether you are an atheist, agnostic or anything else, in all honesty, you know it doesn't satisfy. Nor can you be free by being rich. Everything aside from God, has to lead into bondage in one form or the other. In your own words, if you admit you need God, ask Him to forgive you and save you. He will keep his word, for God is faithful.
