Don't know what his numbers are, but I believe earnings will be 15c.
I believe AOL wants to start strong going into the Christmas season and beating the street will definitely help. AOL will split by February.

Blowout occurs when the earnings beat the "whisper number" (not the consensus estimate!) by a good margin of at least 3 cents. I don't see AOL disappointing the investors from the consensus perspective, but "whisper no" is something else - At around $ 86, AOL is undervalued and is a bargain. I would do all my buying in the next two weeks and then sell in November for short term profits or if you have a longer term horizon, hold on till it doubles in 2000!
