>>we ARE going to break out of the trading range violently - one way or the other - soon.<<

What worries me is the possibility that the first break out could be a head fake. Hard upwards to squeeze shorts, entice in bulls then whip saw down even harder.

Robert - because the rally gets narrower each month and eventually it will become too obvious to ignore or bad news will hit the one remaining stock that is climbing. You can stack alot of bricks like a pyramid but you can only stack one brick on top of another single brick so fa before the stack falls over. We are eroding the base of the market and if it continues, the whole thing will topple.

Good Luck,

Lee

<<we ARE going to break out of the trading range violently
- one way or the other - soon.>> I have been quietly hoping that this violent move will be upside,as I then think
we would be having that one big dying gasp--and I would be rushing to load up on puts a month to 2 beyond that moment, but because of the uncertainty you speak of as to which way it goes near-term,I have only cautiously taken a couple put positions for Oct.Max
