Ike,

I came real close to buying some the other day. The only things that prevented me were that I am already heavily weighted in BRKA/B as a percentage of my stock portfolio. I am also bearish on the market. I think the current price is reasonable/fair, but no screaming buy. I would rather own BRK for the next 10 years than have cash or most other stocks over that time. I'd also definitely rather own BRK than a portfolio of overvalued blue chip techs, banks, brokers, internets, drugs, etc...

I also think there are reasonable values in the food, restaurant, auto insurance, and small cap areas.

The big investment issue for me is that I suspect that we are going to see a tidal wave...and tidal waves wash everything out to sea!!
