Lather.Rinse.Repeat.:......Lamborghinis & evolution. Don't conveniently ditch the argument here like Dawkins and most other biologists as to what came before evolution. You and Dawkins and all of us have an obligation to be intellectually honest and ask ourselveswell what? came before evolution Obviously by the fortuitous, random evolutionary arguments, it MUST HAVE BEEN SLIME: We have no scientific evidence that there was anything else around prior to that, 1 trillion years ago. So it is logical ( and necessary )then to assume that atoms configured spontaneously into molecules, then into slime then into DNA subsequently into single cells from there on into simple organisms unto worms and then into the Cosmic Monkey who finally turned into a beautiful lady ( I am a femminist ) and then pronto man and woman ( no they were not Lesbians; along the way the Amazon turned into man ) then built a Lamborghini This is simple stuff. Any 14 year old from Kansas can understand it. The question for you and the audience as well as Hawkins is: what is wrong with this picture? Answer is: there is something wrong with it because 90% of Americans don't believe it. So then you have 2 options: 1) try harder to explain it and teach it better ( the Oxford & Harvard & NYTimes preferred approach, not to mention ACLU, etc, etc, etc ) or 2) look for alternative explanations, - little green men from Jupiter with red eyes and purple tails -a cosmic intelligence from Andromeda -Gods ( many ) - God ( 1 ) Your choice Whatever turns you on it is simple MrWatson, er LRR TA PS the Lamborghini is biolgical ( ask any Italian ) It has C + O + N + H atoms in it just like humans. It also has a spattering of other elements in it because of enviromental pollution. In the future I am certain men will built unpolluted Lamborghinis with pure Carbon Oxygen Nitrogen & Hydrogen content, which will be enviromentally sound: They may call it The Schwartzenegger Cabriolet . . Back later. Gonna drive my Lamborghini now . . .Message #802 from Lather.Rinse.Repeat. at Sep 18 1999 1:20PM Yes, BUT unless you're a big Steven King fan a Lamborghini ain't a biological. <gg>
