Lisa,Newt was a representative instead of a senator but,that is really immaterial. It is all a shame, because Newt did have some good,conservative ideas and programs in mind but,as the saying goes,power does corrupt.It is true that he has those skeletons in his closet but,please don't blame conservatism for his personal failings.^^^TD

Gingrich is a personally troubled man. However, his legislative leadership and political intellect were excellent.
