No they arent discussed in my book. As this is a very subjective call on the high pole. In a bear configured mareket I would pay more attention to it. but if the market like tech goes through a big decline then a high pole might be due to a general market decline and not stock specific. It's a judgment call and I generally don't use them. It is however a valid pattern and some adhere to them religiously. Imust say that sometime sI wish I had. It must exceed a previuos x by 3 boxes or more to qualify for a 50% retracement. We prefer more then three. Again its a judbment call. T
