Thanks for providing the link to that article.

One of the main points of the article had to do with the possibility of a short squeeze. The article mentioned that the shorts control about 10% of the stock. It didn't point out that they control about 12% of the float or that, as of August, it will take about four days of average trading volume for all the shorts to cover.
